ABSTRACT
In this final assignment report, we discuss the process of making a corn shelling machine
and studying the performance of a corn shelling machine using a 5.5 HP petrol motor. The
making of a corn shelling machine is used to make it easier for corn farmers in the postharvest process after drying the corn kernels. The corn sheller machine has a sheller tube
with a capacity of 12 kg of corn. The results of this final assignment obtained the following
data, Machine rotation at 624.3 (rpm), to shell 12 kg of corn in 02:59 minutes/s, at 663,7
(rpm) to shell 12 kg of corn in 01:55, at 688,9 (rpm) to shell 12 kg of corn with time 01:52
minutes/s.
