IMPROVING THE LEARNING ENGLISH PERSONAL PRONOUNS AS SUBJECT AND OBJECT TO THE FIRST GRADE STUDENTS OF ESCOLA ENSINO SECUNDARIO GERAL BAGUIA SUB-DISTRICT AND BAUCAU MUNICIPALITY, IN THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024.
ABSTRACT
This monograph is entited, Improving Learning English personal pronouns as subject and object
to the first grade students of Escola Ensino Secundario Geral Baguia, Baucau in the school year
2024.
The objective of this research was to find out the students could improve in learning English
personal pronouns as subject and object to point out the levels of students and to find out their
levels of achievement. The methods used this study were descriptive quantitate methods. The
sample used of this study was 20 students of first grade students of Escola Ensino Secundario Geral
Baguia,Baucau in the school year 2024.The instruments used in this study was by describing
sentence, answering the questions some real things to help the students in learning process of this
study the researcher used, sentences while implementing the research. The population of this study
was the first grade students of the researched school in the year 2024. The test was divided in two
types such as first cycle pre-test, treatment and second cycle or post-test. The results shows that 20
students of the first grade students of Escola Ensino Secundario Geral Baguia, Baucau in the school
year 2024 and 20 test items in written from which comprised of three types; 10 numbers of multiple
choices, 5 numbers of filling the blanks and 5 numbers of true and false. The results of the test were
two types: first experimental class and second control class. The experimental class in the pre-test
was 62.5% and the post-test were 86.5%. While the classes were divided in three types: high,
average and low levels for the pre-test and post with 17.5%. The control class in the pre-rest was
62.5% and the post-test were 84.5%. While the classes were divided in three types: high, average
and low levels for the pre-test and post with 22.5%. In pre-test students in low levels but in the posttest the most students got the high levels. In pre-test students in low levels but in the post-test the
most of the got high levels. The students’ learning in pre-test and post-test classified into good.From
this thesis, the writer would like to inform to the tecaher in ESG Baguia that the teacher in there
can use new inovative method to teach English personal pronouns by using subject and object to
the students.
