x ; 39 pag ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled, “A study on mastering of preposition of time “at, in and on” 7 0 grade students of Ensino Básico 3 0 Ciclo Laisorulai in the school year2024.” The objectives of this study were to identify or to discover the ability of preposition of time (at, in and on) to students at Ensino Básico 3 0 Ciclo Laisorulai in the school year 2024. Especially in first grade students and using preposition of time “at, in and on and their level of mastery. This study provides some information for the readers to empower their comprehension in learning English or to know their ability in teaching English in preposition of time to the grade 7 0 students at Ensino Básico 3 0 Ciclo Laisorulai in the school year 2024.The population of this study was the 7 0 grade students and the sample was 20 students .The writer used descriptive quantitative method to analyze and discuss the data. The instrument used in this study was 30 test items from multiple choices, filling in the blanks and true or false. Multiple choices the result of this table shows that the 20 students achieved 147 correct answers with 71,5% and 53 wrong answers with 28,5% and null from students’ no answer, Filling in the blanks the students did 133 correct answers with 66,5% and 67 students’ wrong answers with 33,5% and there was null from students’ no answer, And True or false the students did 116 correct answers with 58% and 84 students’ wrong answers with 42% and there was null from students’ no answer. Combination table this study shows that 65,36% from 392 of the students correct answer 34,64% from 208 of the students wrong answers and there was null from students’ no answer. This means that the 7 0 grade students in year 2024 were be able to do the test given. Key words: study mastering, using preposition of time in quantitative Methods.
