ObjetivuEspesifiku: 1.Atu identifika kona-ba hahalok idozu hipertensaun 2. Atu identifika kona-ba akontesimentu moras hipertensaun. Koileta dadus utiliza questionario, Etika Informed Konsen (Aseitasaun Respondente) ne‟ebe asina husi peskizador no partisi pante molok koileta dadus. ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP OF OLD BEHAVIOR IN THE PREVENTION OF HYPERTENSION WITH THE OCCURRENCE OF HYPERTENSION TO THE ELDERLY IN THE VILLAGE OF UE-RUMARA THE ADMINISTRATIVE POST OF LAGA IN BAUCAU MUNICIPALITY IN 2024. According to the WHO, the age of 60-64 years has increased the risk of hypertension by 51% and the age of 65 years and above. According to data from the Ministry of Health of Timor-Leste in 2016 396 people with hypertension were 175% . Total data from the municipality of Baucau / DHS in 2015- 2016 were 100 cases of high-tension . Total data from Laga Health centre (CHC) IN 2022, People with high blood pressure in 120 cases. Research Objectives ; To identify thr relationship of elderly behavior on prevention of hypertension with the occurrence of hypertension to the elderly. Specific purpose: 1. To identifythe behavior of the elderly hypertension 2. To idenrify the occurrence of hypertension. Research methodology: this research methodology is used by the writer using the total quantitative analytical sampling method. Research will be conducted in Baucau Municipality from April to May 2024. The population of mothers who used hypertension prevention with theoccurrence of hypertension in Ue-rumata Baucau Village with a total sample of use (total sampling), the independent variable : The occurrence of hypertension to the elderly technical data collection : secondary data and analytical quantitative data analysis. Data collection using the questionnaire the Ethical. Sons (Respondent acceptance) signed by the tesearcher and participant before collecting the data. Research Findings : the Research Findings are based on the behaviuor of 8 good respondents 13,8 %) and 50 bad respondents (86,2 %). And the survey results based on the occurrence of hypertension of the respondents were 55 people (94,8%) and 3 wrong respondents (5,2 %). Conclusion : This research is to conclude that there is a significant relationship between the elderly behavior on prevention of hypertension and the occurrence of hypertension to the elderly with a value (P-0,000) Below the value a=0,5 aand there is also a significant relationshipbetween the elderly behavior with the occurrence of hypertension (P-Value : 0,000).
