A STUDY ON MASTERING OF ENGLISH PHARASAL VERBS UP, INTO ON AND DOWN TO THE SECOND GRADE STUDENTS OF ESCOLA SECUNDARIA GERAL FERNANDO LASAMA DE ARAUJO, AINARO SUB- DISTRICT, IN THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024.
ABSTRACT
This Academic writing Entitled “A Study on Mastering of English Phrasal Verbs Up, Into, On,
and Down to the Second Grade Students of Escola Secundaria Geral Fernando Lasama de
Araujo, Ainaro, in the School Year 2024”
English phrasal verbs is a verb that combines by verb, preposition and adverbs or it‟s a
combination by three types of speech, this particular subject is related to the important part for
those who studies English language with the main reason it‟s a part of communication that
people use to communicate to each other in every section . The perspective of this particular
research is to find out the effective of second grade students of Escola Secundaria Geral
Fernando Lasama de Araujo Ainaro to deal with this particular subject accordingly to English
grammar rule in addition to communicate to each other! In using quantitative method it was
further for analyzing the students level after they have been studying this English Phrasal verbs,
the population of this research the writer choose the second grade students of Escola secundaria
Geral Fernando Lasama de Araujo, Ainaro in the school year 2024 the total population of this
research consist of 105 population and the selected sample consist of 20 sample. In this data
collection the writer provide 20 test items for them. The tests consisted of 10 numbers of
multiple choice, 5 numbers of filling the blank and 5 numbers of True and false the categorized
level of this study there are 13 students categorized of high level the percentage of their level
56,75 % the score of correct answer is 227 average mark consist of 6 students with 20,75% the
score of correct answer 83 law mark consist of 1 student with the percentage 2% the score of
correct answer 10 these tables 5-7 present that most of the second grade students of Escola
secundaria Geral Fernando Lasama de Araujo, Ainaro were categorized in high level than
average and low mark. It‟s means that they are able to give the answer to those questions.
