Konkluzaun: Bazeia ba rezultadu diskusaun konklui katak koñesimentu

ABSTRACT
DESCRIPTION OF COMMUNITY KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE
REGARDING HIV PREVENTION IN THE VILLAGE OF AELAFA,
DAUDERE SUKU, LAUTEM ADMINISTRATIVE POST, LAUTEM
MUNICIPALITY IN 2025.

Background: Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a public health problem that
generally impacts morbidity and mortality from infections worldwide. Almost 40
out of 1000 people die with a percentage of 15%-20% due to respiratory
infections. The high-risk groups are children, adults, and the elderly, occurring in
advanced nations (World Health Organization, 2023). According to data from the
Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, in 2021 there were 3.12 million
cases of IRI infection, and in 2022 this number increased again to 2.312 million.
According to the Ministry of Health, in 2023 there were 111,247 IRI illnesses in
the National Territory. Based on data recorded at the Lautém Health Center, in
2023 there were 7,881 cases of IRI infection and in 2024 it rose to 9,724.
Research Objective: To Understand the Level of Knowledge and Community
Attitudes Regarding IRA Disease Prevention in Aelafa Village, Daudere Hamlet,
Lautem Administrative Post, Lautem Municipality in 2025.
Research Methodology: The type used in this research is the quantitative
descriptive method used to understand the community's level of knowledge and
attitudes towards disease prevention (Notoadmodjo,2021). Population of 100,
Sample of 50, Sampling Technique: This research used accidental
sampling/significant population by opportunity to choose and become the sample
(Nursalam,2022).
Research Results: Based on the research findings, it shows that the communities
in Aelafa Village, DaudereSubdistrict, Lautém Administrative Post, Lautém
Municipality, have knowledge about STD prevention in the Good category with a
total of 19, representing 38%, Fair 11, representing 22%, and Poor 20,
representing 40%. Their attitude towards STD prevention falls into the Good
category with a total of 31, representing 62%, Fair 14, representing 28%, and Poor
5, representing 10%.
Conclusion: Based on the discussion results, it is concluded that the knowledge of
the Majority community falls in the low category with a total of 20 and a
percentage of 40%. And the attitude of the Majority community falls in the Good
category with a total of 31 and a percentage of 62%.
