A STUDY ON THE USE OF ENGLISH COORDINATE CONJUCTION (‘FOR’, ‘YET’ AND ‘SO’) TO THE 10TH GRADE STUDENTS OF ESG. ORIENTAL TIMOR – LOROSA’E (ESGORTIL)IN THE SCHOOL YEAR



ABSTRACT
This Thesis entitled: “A Study On The Use of English Coordinate Conjunction
(‘For’, ‘Yet’ And ‘So’) To The First Grade Students of Escola Secundario Geral
Oriental Timor-Lorosa’e (Esgortil) In The School Year 2024”
The objective of this study is as sensitive answer for the students ability and the
students level in using English Coordinate Conjunctions (‘For’, ‘Yet’ And ‘So’) in the
English Language at ESG. Oriental Timor-Lorosa’e (Esgortil). To improve the students
learning grammar of this study is expected to be a source and contribuition to the
readers.. The quantitative method is to describe, calculate the data collection technique
are: the questionnaire and to clarify the students ability. Besides that, the writer used
three types of tests to measure student’s abilities and levels. The test that was given by
combination of result test indicates that; 90,5% from 362 of students correct answer,
9% from 36 students wrong answers and 0% from no answers. The multiple choice test
result shows that, 43,5% from 174 students correct answer and 6,5% from 26 students
wrong answer. In filing the blanks shows that 22,25% from 89 students correct answer,
2,75% from 11 students wrong answers. True or false shows that 25% from 100
students correct answer and 0% from students wrong answers.
