Lia Fuan Save: Kuñesementu, Atitude, Moras Gastritis ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION OF THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE PREVENTION OF GASTRITIS IN THE VILLAGE OF DEFA-UASSI,SUCO DEFA-UASSI, ADMINISTRATIVE POST OF BAGUIA, BAUCAU MUNICIPALITY IN 2025 FROM : AGATA LOPES GUTERRES 21.07.01.010 Introduction: According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2021, research done globally indicates that 1.821 million people suffer from Gastritis each year, as observed from various countries; the prevalence rates of Gastritis incidents are reported in countries like England (22%), Japan (14.5%), Canada (35%), and France (29.5%). The incidence of Gastritis in Asia is about 583,635 people annually. The prevalence of confirmed Gastritis through endoscopy in the population in China is around 17.2%, with 4.1% showing asymptomatic models, indicating that Gastritis does not discriminate against the rich or poor and is also not limited to children. Therefore, Gastritis is a condition that greatly affects individuals, necessitating more research attention, along with education and effective treatment in communities to manage Gastritis disease (WHO, 2021). Research Objective: To understand the description of knowledge and attitudes regarding prevention Morais Gastritis in Aldeia Defa-uassi Sucu Defa-uassi Administrative Post Baguia, Baucau Municipality, Tinan 2025. Research Methodology: quantitative descriptive method. The research method refers to the function to gather data or define knowledge about Comunity related to Gastritis disease. The quantitative descriptive research method aims to identify sources of the disease and how they may cause it, thus identifying several cases that are relevant to Gastritis (Notoatmodjo, 2021). The research involved a population of 150 people, with a sample of 34 individuals, using accidental probability sampling technique. Sampling Criteria: Inclusive Criteria and Exclusive criteria, Research instruments; questionnaire and observation, Data Analysis: Univarialities , (Statistical Descriptive) using the explanation of frequency and percentages, Research Ethics: Respecting Human Dignity, Respecting privacy and subjective secret and fair inclusivity. Research findings: This research shows that the lack of knowledge on Gastritis Prevention is in the category of less than 20 with a percentage (59%). Conclusion: Many communities have little knowledge about how to prevent Gastritis and therefore Health Education is a way to increase Community Knowledge about Prevention.
