Antesendente: Diareia sai nafatin kauza ba moras no mate iha labarik sira ohin loron. Diareia nu'udar sintoma infesaun nian ida iha trató intestino, ne'ebé mak bele kauza hosi bakteria oin-oin, virus no parasitu.
Objetivu Peskiza: Atu buka tuir hatene iha ka laiha diareia ne'ebé kauza hosi rotavirus uza metódu ELISA iha fezes labarik sira ho idade tinan 0 -5 iha Hospital Referal Suai postu Administrativu Suai Villa, Munisipiu Covalima.
Metodologia Peskiza: Métodu peskiza ne’ebé peskizador utiliza maka métodu deskritivu kualitativu atu bele sukat variábel indepedente ne’ebé sai kauza ba variábel seluk ho nia objetivu atu bele observa deskrisaun koñesementu moras diareia ba labarik ho idade 0-5 anos atu hatene infeksaun rotavirus iha Hospital Referal Suai Postu Administrativu Suai Villa,Munisipiu Covalima Timor-Leste 2021 ho nia total populasaun 110 no nia amostra 32 respondente uza tekniku random sampling simples”
Rezultadu Peskiza: Hosi rezultadu ezaminasaun fezes ba pasiente labarik ho idade 0-5 ne’ebé indika mai iha laboratóriu atu hatene kona-ba moras diareia kauza infesaun rotavirus, ho total populasaun hetan 110 ho amostra ne’ebé uza iha peskiza mak 32 amostra. Rezultadu ne’ebé hetan mak pozitivu (+) amostra 1 ho jéneru mane ho pesentazen 3% nomos, Rezultadu negativu (-) hetan 31 amostra ho presentazen 97%.
Konkluzaun: Bazeia ba rezultadu ikus husi ezaminasaun fezes ba labarik ho idade 0-5 anos ho amostra 32 atu hatene kona-ba moras diareia infesaun Rotavirus ne’ebé maka hala’o iha laboratóriu Hospital Referal Suai (HRS) ho rezultadu ne’ebé hetan amostra positivu 1 hosi jéneru mane ho kuantidade porsentu 3% no negativu amostra hamutuk 31 ho kuantidade porsentu 97%, husi rezultadu hirak ne’e hatudu katak iha komunidade area Postu Administrativu suai vila Munisipiu Covalima iha dezenvolve ba prosesu tratamentu kon-aba moras nian.

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE OF DIARRHEAL DISEASE IN CHILDREN AGED 0-5 YEARS TO DETERMINE ROTAVIRUS INFECTION IN THE SUAI REFERRAL HOSPITAL

Backround: Diarrhea is still a cause of disease and death in children today. Diarrhea is a symptom of infection in the intestinal tract that can be caused by various bacterial, viral and parasitic organisms.
Research Purposes: To determine the presence or absence of diarrhea caused by rotavirus using the ELISA method in the feces of children aged 0-5 years at the Suai Referral Hospital Administrative Post Suai Vila, Covalima Municipality.
Research Methods: The research method that the researcher uses is a qualitative descriptive method to be able to measure the independent variables that cause other variables with the aim of being able to make descriptive observations to find out diarrheal disease in children aged 0-5 years to determine rotavirus infection at the Suai Referal Hospital administrative post Suai Vila, Suai Municipality Timor-Leste 2021 with a total population of 110 and a sample of 32 respondents using the simple random sampling technique.
Research Result: From the results of stool tests on pediatric patients aged 0-5 years who were referred to the laboratory to find out about diarrheal diseases caused by rotavirus infection, with a total population of 110 with 32 samples used in the study. The results obtained are positive (+) 1 male gender with a percentage of 3% and also, negative results (-) 31 samples with a percentage of 97%.
Conclusion: Based on the final results of stool tests on children aged 0-5 years with a sample of 32 to find out about diarrheal disease caused by rotavirus which was carried out in a hospital referral laboratory according to the results obtained a positive sample of 1 of the male sex with a quantity of percent 3% and the sample negative as many as 31 with a quantity of percent 97%, from these results it shows that the community in the district of suai, the municipality of Covalima there is progress in the treatment process about the disease.
