Antesedente: Moras diareia sei hanesan problema saude principal ba labarik sira especialmente akontese iha nasaun sub-dezenvolvidu sira inklui Timor-Leste, provolta 4 milloens kazu diareia iha mundi iha tinan 2017, hetan 2,5 milliaun kazu taka ho mortalidade no maioria (>90%) akontese iha nasaun sira sub-dezenvolvidu. Provolta 80% mortalidade kauza diareia ba labarik sira iha mundu atinji 42.000 kada semana, 6,000 kada loron, ema niaan 4 por minitu no 1 mate kada segundu 14. (WHO, 2017)
Objetivu Peskiza: Objetivu jeral husi peskiza ne’e mak hanesan atu hatene diskrisaun koñesementu inan kona-ba jestaun diareia ba labarik tinan 5 iha Suco Raça, Postu Administrativo Lospalos, Munisípiu Lautem tinan 2022.
Metodu Peskiza: Tipu peskiza ne’ebé uza iha peskiza ne’e mak peskiza diskritivu kualitativu, populasaun ba peskiza ne’e mak inan sira ne’ebé iha oan tinan 5 hamutuk 171 no amostra husi respondent hamutuk 34.
Resultadu Peskiza: Respondente ne’ebé koñesementu menus hamutuk 15 (44%). Ida ne’e kauza husi respondent barak mak nivel edukasaun primaria hamutuk 52% no pre-sekundaria hamutuk 21% no respondente ne’ebé jestaun ba diareia sei menus hamutuk 18 (53%) no kategoria diak hamutuk 3 (9%). Konkluzaun: Pesoal saúde sentru saúde komunitaria iha Suku Raça, Postu Administrativu Lospalos, Munisípiu Lautem atu fo akonselamentu saúde rutina ba komunidade liu-liu inan sira iha oan especifikamente kona-ba jestaun diareia atu hasa’e koñesementu inan kona-ba jestaun diareia.

Backround: Diarrhea is still a major health problem in children, especially in developing countries including Timor Leste, of about 4 million cases of diarrhea in the world in 2017, there were 2.5 million cases ending in death and most (more than 90%), occurred in developing countries. About 80% of deaths due to diarrhea in children in the world reach 42.000 every week, 600 per day, 4 people per minute and 1 death in 14 seconds. (WHO, 2017)
Objective: The general purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of mothers about the management of diarrheal diseases in five-years-old infants in Raça village, Lospalos sub district, and Lautem municipalities in 2022.
Methodology of Research: The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, the population of the study is mothers who have children of 5 years there were 171 and the sample of respondents is 34 people.
Result of the Research: Respondents who have less knowledge are 15 (44%). This is due to the fact that most of the respondents who have primary education level are 52%, those who are in junior high school are 21% and respondents about diarrhea management are still lacking 18 (53%) and those in the good category are 3 (9%).
Conclusion: Health workers of the Raca village, Lospalos sub district and Lautem municipality sub-health center should regularly provide health education to the community, especially mothers of five-year-old infants specifically about diarrheal diseases to increase mother’s knowledge about diarrhea management.
